Special Libraries Association Pitt Student Group (SLAPSG) web site
Throughout
the first half of 2007, I've been serving as the president of SLAPSG.
The WordPress blog installed by our former webmaster has been
very helpful for keeping people updated as to SLA & SLAPSG
opportunities and activities. It's in a bit of a transition
right now, so, depending on the moment you catch it, the award-winning
nature may not be immediately evident.

The SLA
Pittsburgh chapter's newsletter allowed me the opportunity in April to
explain to the chapter and others what SLAPSG was doing and what the
issues are
facing LIS students at Pitt. My article's on page 9.
